Before launching his career in insurance, James served for ten years in the military, including two overseas deployments, where he developed a disciplined, mission-focused mindset that he now applies to protecting businesses and organizations. He has earned the prestigious Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designations, reinforcing his expertise in complex commercial risk management. James is licensed in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Michigan and is committed to delivering tailored insurance solutions that help clients protect their assets and mitigate risks effectively.
Beyond his professional work, James is deeply invested in his community. He has served on nearly a dozen local boards and commissions, demonstrating his dedication to civic engagement. As a past President of the Portage Chamber of Commerce, he has played a key role in driving economic growth and fostering business development.
